The most recent studies suggest that listening and playing music at a young age is shown to improve creativity, learning, memory, motor, and reasoning skills. The goal of the Little Fingers Piano Class is to provide young students (ages 4 -7) with an understanding of the discipline required to learn a musical instrument and the enjoyment that comes out of making and sharing music with others. Each 40-minute class will focus on developing creativity, listening, rhythm, music theory, technique, and performance skills. Classes are taught in small group settings to ensure that each student receives a solid foundation in preparation for further musical studies. Parents are strongly encouraged to learn along with their children. Classes will use methods specific to young beginner students. Contact 964-3660 or www.seacoastacademyofmusic.org
